This week it is Elisa, Melissa, Mike and Kevin. Yes believe it or not the gangs all here. We lead off with update to show recording schedule over the coming weeks.

Kevin starts out talking about his Comcast interaction this week and why he is going to purchase his own cable modem and possibly DVR over the coming months. Elisa and Melissa give some sage advice on what to consider when modem shopping and Mike offers recommendations for DVR alternatives.

We then move on to Melissa’s recent buying binge and all the goodies she has ordered. To make it easier for us to understand, she shares an informative PDF she put together. If you want to see it ask her and she will share it.

We close out the show with our picks as always. Elisa follows on with her pick last week by choosing a Sonos Playbar. Which we then discuss the type of audio it simulates. We move to Melissa’s pick of the Wish App and how it let’s her compare prices and avoid middlemen. Mike has interesting little Drone to fly around and annoy his neighbors and pets. Kevin wraps up with the most expensive pick to date, the Relaxman Relaxation Capsule. If you do nothing else go read the questions asked.

This week it is Elisa with Mike and Kevin.

We start silly as usual but, get serious when Kevin asks for support for the victims of the wild fires in Gatlinburg Tennessee, a place near and dear to him so follow this link to see how you can help the victims out. Then we wrap up with a wonderful weather report, at least from Kevin’s perspective.

Then Kevin gives an update on his iOS 10 issues and concerns and wonders why Siri has gotten stupid. That leads to discussion of voice recognition devices including the Amazon Echo, Google Home and rounds out with the Amazon Tap.

Elisa then talks about all of her Black Friday purchases that arrived and we discuss Apples Photos app and the problems she has had with it. We then discuss alternative print services including one surprise for Kevin Amazon print services and a link to deal.

We wrap-up with our picks. First off is Kevin with something to fulfill his need a new USB powered hub from Satechi. Elisa has fairly unique pick for the sports fan. This week it is Elisa with Mike and Kevin while Melissa is still trying to get her voice back.

This week we are taking a different approach to the show this week. In the US it is the week of Thanksgiving which can only mean one thing, Black Friday is once again upon us.  We decide to take an early look at the ads “leaked” on BFADS.net  and see what kind of goodies we want. From Kevin with one of his well know weaknesses, 256GB Flash drive to Elisa’s quilting needs with a super cool sewing machine and Mike rounds it out with his trip into virtual reality from Sony. Then everything else in between.

This week it Elisa with Mike and Kevin while Melissa does her Halloween preparations. Let’s hope the crew all gets together soon.

We start with an update on Kevin’s recent subscription box. Once again Arcade Block put together a great one. Kevin has some discount codes if anyone is interested.

We then move on to talk about the Apple event and what we did and din’t like about it. We also discuss the things that Microsoft did right at their Windows 10 event, which leads to a conversation about why we aren’t thrilled with Windows 10.

We wrap up the show with our picks and Elisa’s follow on to her iMessage issue that Suze solved for her.  Elisa is trying to stay warm as the lovely winter season approaches and she does in style with electric fireplace. Mike doesn’t spoil his pick for a second week in a row, He wants to get his gaming fix and choses a Steam powered gaming machine. Kevin is dreaming of Christmas and wants to decorate his yard with this Nativity scene and a cool geeky light to show it off.

This week it Elisa is back with Mike and Kevin and it is Melissa’s turn to be ill. Let’s hope the crew all gets well soon and at the same time.

Next Kevin discusses the fact that for a third week in a row he bought another retro gaming console, this time a Gamecube. He promises that is it for awhile unless he finds a nice N64.

Then we talk new phones, Mike has gone Android Moto G4 Amazon edition and likes it while Elisa has the new iPhone 7. We then discuss the pros and for us serious cons of iOS 10. Elisa is struggling with 3D touch and she is looking for help. Kevin and Elisa are both fed up with the new iOS mail app. We also discuss the anniversary of the iPod and if we are excited by the October 27th event.

We round out the show with discussing our picks. Elisa after her cruise and ingesting 20,000 calories a day decides to use $650 to cover personal workout sessions with a trainer. Mike doesn’t spoil his this week for a switch, he choose a cool portable work bench to help out in his day job. Kevin decides to up his home theater experience with a nice home theater in a box.

Again this week it is Mike and Kevin. Elisa is not feeling well and Melissa is in to a bit of a workspace remodel.  First we congratulate our friend Peter Bird’s for his appearance in a music video. Peter is after all a member of the mymac.com family.

Next Kevin discusses the fact that for a second week in a row he bought a Gameboy Advance. He seems to be on a retro gaming spree. Which then leads into a description of Mike’s tablet addiction and then he spoils his pick of the week, again. Then the conversation moves on to hacking together a Linux tablet. Then we postulate on the convergence of phone, tablets and our PC’s and the new HP Elite x3. Kevin’s talks about his concern’s over Big Brother and how Mike feels about it and privacy in general. We finish off with a pretty new email app to clear Mike’s mental images.

We round out the show with discussing our picks, Mike spoiled it again but, we still discuss his Linux Tablet pick. Kevin loves his bags so he goes for a really nice one.
